Aiko Sato

Sushi Chef

Sushi Chef Aiko Sato specializes in creating unique handcrafted sushi and sashimi. Her creativity shines in her ability to combine flavors from both old and new worlds. Chef Sato’s love of trying new things is evident in each roll she creates.


She loves taking a traditional way of preparing sushi and turning it into something entirely different.

She also believes that quality is paramount when creating anything. Freshness and technique are essential for a truly superior product.


With this belief, every piece of sushi she prepares, regardless if it is a classic combination or something new and adventurous, will be done with the same amount of respect and care.

Emi Nakamura

Kitchen Manager

Emi Nakamura oversees the overall function of the kitchen for us here at Kai Sushi Fusion Roll & Sake. 
She aids in assisting our chefs by organizing the layout of the kitchen and managing the flow of product through out the day. This ensures that consistently great food is produced. 

In other words, this can include anything from coordinating with our chefs during production, providing top level communication with all employees (front-of-house & back-of-house), inventory control, purchasing supplies and materials for the restaurant, etc. 

How efficiently and effectively the kitchen runs will be a direct correlation to how well the entire restaurant operates. Teamwork is one of the most important components in achieving an effective restaurant. As well as being responsible for the kitchen, Emi provides support in many ways throughout the restaurant including; resolving customer issues/complaints, creating schedules for staff, placing orders for merchandise for the restaurant, etc.

Daniel Kim

Restaurant Manager

Restaurant Manager Daniel Kim is focused primarily on daily activities of Kai Sushi Fusion Roll & Sake. 

He is accountable for making sure every single guest receives an exceptional dining experience starting when he/she first walks into the restaurant until the time he/she leaves. He will work hand-in-hand with both the front-of-the-house staff & back-of-the-house staff to make certain that we exceed our customers' expectations.


Whether it's helping plan events and parties, training employees, communicating with vendors or addressing customer concerns; he understands that each guest comes in contact with multiple staff members throughout their visit. Therefore he tries to ensure that all interactions are positive and professional.

Michael Chen

Hospitality Supervisor

Hospitality supervisor Michael Chen is focused on providing our guests with a personalized level of service during their visits to Kai Sushi Fusion Roll & Sake.


As part of our front desk/customer service team, he aims to build long-lasting relationships by understanding individual needs. He does this by greeting each guest warmly upon entering the restaurant, explaining our menus options to them, recommending menu items based on their preferences, responding promptly to any requests or concerns guests may have, and thanking guests for visiting prior to leaving the establishment.


By doing this he builds trust with each guest which enables him to better understand their preferences allowing him to personalize their dining experience. His friendly demeanor allows him to build rapport quickly with guests who then become repeat customers due to feeling welcomed.

Sophia Martinez

Guest Experience Coordinator

Guest Experience Coordinator Sophia Martinez coordinates take-out orders, handles customer communication, processes online orders and resolves customer issues. She finds joy in helping our guests discover the right meal for them, answering questions they may have and ensuring their orders are accurate and ready when promised.


Sophia believes in giving her guests the most streamlined experience possible. She takes pride in knowing that even though she doesn’t interact with customers face-to-face on a regular basis, she still plays a huge role in creating an enjoyable experience for each of our guests.

Hiro Tanaka

Executive Sushi Chef

Hiro Tanaka oversees the culinary efforts at Kai Sushi Fusion Roll & Sake. As the head chef, he is extremely passionate about combining tradition with new and exciting ways to express his creativity through sushi. He is responsible for choosing all of the ingredients, developing new recipes and preparing all of the sushi that we serve.


Chef Tanaka takes extreme pride in everything that goes into each dish that leaves our kitchen. All of the sushi and other Japanese dishes are made using time-honored traditions, combined with the highest level of quality and care possible. Everything that leaves the kitchen is of the highest standard and reflects the quality and excellence that Kai Sushi Fusion Roll & Sake represents.
